SEQLENE ES-50 is a 50% aqueous solution of sodium glucoheptonate, which is a sequestering and chelating agent. It is readily miscible with 50% caustic solution allowing ease in preparing a fortifies liquid caustic product. SEQLENE ES-50 forms a non-ionic chelate. It is derived from carbohydrates and therefore is readily biodegradable. This material finds utility in three major markets: concrete admixtures, industrial cleaners and agriculture chelations.
