With environmental and toxicity concerns becoming more critical, the desire to remove phthalates from polymer compounds around the globe is rapidly increasing. Plasthall® PR-A610 is certified by the USDA to be a 100% bio-based, and is an excellent phthalate replacement. PR-A610 can replace DEHP and DINP at equal levels offering comparable performance with the benefit of improved volatility resistance. Additionally, PR-A610 is a 100% biodegradable ester plasticizer under ASTM D6400 Standard Specification for Compostable Plastics, EN13432 Requirements for packaging recoverable through composting and biodegradation, and ISO 17088 Specification for compostable plastics.
