PARAPLEX G-60 is a high molecular weight soybean oil epoxide, which provides effective heat and light stabilization in polyvinyl chloride polymers, nitrocellulose lacquers and chlorinated rubber compounds

Compounds plasticized with PARAPLEX G-60 possess good flexibility at low temperatures, excellent resistance to soap and detergent solutions, and low volatile loss. PARAPLEX G-60 is not as permanent as our PARAPLEX polyester plasticizers, however with respect to resistance to extraction by hydrocarbons and resistance to migration.

The stabilizing action of PARAPLEX G-60 in vinyl compounds permits a reduction of overall stabilizer costs and allows the use of higher processing temperatures. PARAPLEX G-60 is rarely, if ever, recommended for use as the sole plasticizer in vinyl compounds.
