MONOPLEX DOS is an ester-type plasticizer, which has been used for many years as a standard in vinyl compounds requiring low temperature flexibility.

The most important features of MONOPLEX DOS low volatility, high plasticizing efficiency, excellent resistance to extraction by water, soaps, and detergents, and excellent flexibility at low temperatures.

In plastisols, MONOPLEX DOS exhibits very low viscosity (about one-third the viscosity of plastisols based on DOP) and excellent viscosity stability. MONOPLEX DOS is often used in combination with other plasticizers to improve the viscosity characteristics of vinyl plastisols and to improve low temperature properties.
