Plasthall® 406 is a highly branched monomeric ester plasticizer, made primarily from renewable raw materials, with 81% biobased content by weight. This high bio-content helps formulators meet sustainability goals while eliminating the need for phthalates in flexible PVC films. With its excellent plasticizing efficiency, thermal resistance, and strong compatibility with vinyl, Plasthall® 406 is an ideal choice for PVC plastisols and coated textile applications.

Additionally, Plasthall® 406 has demonstrated a 35% reduction in smoke during cone calorimeter testing compared to trimellitate and phthalate alternatives, making it a promising low-smoke option for wire and cable applications.
