SUPRMIX® 1312 LV is a highly viscous butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, processing aid with 26% acrylonitrile (ACN) content. It is a permanent plasticizer in that it crosslinks into the rubber on curing. It is recommended when knitting and flow need to be improved, and when the ACN content needs to be increased for oil resistance and for negative polarity for microwave processing. The drawback of SUPRMIX® 1312 LV is its high viscosity at room temperature. SUPRMIX® 1312 ends the handling problems associated with high viscosity by our putting the material on an amorphous silica carrier. SUPRMIX® 1312 LV provides all the benefits without the necessity for heating the liquid to make it more easily handled and weighed. SUPRMIX® 1312 LV is a free flowing, powdered dispersion that speeds mixing. SUPRMIX® 1312 LV is used in molded and extruded products, covered rolls, plastisols, and adhesives.
