Suprmix Paraplex G-41 provides resistance to migration, chemical resistance and resistance to elevated temperatures. Paraplex G-41 is a polyester adipate with an approximate average molecular weight of 5,500 (one of the very highest of all of the many polymeric plasticizers we manufacture). Paraplex G-41 has a nominal viscosity of 3,000 centipoises at 80 degrees Celsius, which means it is extremely viscous at room temperatures. Most of the customers of neat, liquid Paraplex G-41 heat the drums with drum heaters or place the drums in hot boxes or boiler rooms several days prior to using this product. There is a much simpler, more efficient way: Suprmix Paraplex G-41. We put our Paraplex G-41 on our amorphous silica carrier to make a free-flowing powdered dispersion. All of those special properties of HallStar’s Paraplex G-41 are still there: permanence; compatibility; retention of physical properties at prolonged service at high temperatures; excellent resistance to extraction in/by gasoline, oils, detergents and soapy water; and freedom from migration into plastics, rubber, lacquers, alkyds, and varnish finishes are retained — but now in a form that is remarkably convenient to handle, weigh and mix.
